Giveaway extended!!

If you're anything like us, it doesn't take much for the holiday season to get away from you! And with all of the wonderful Christmas orders pouring in, the holiday merry-making has included much cutting and measuring and sewing and shopping for supplies! We are so blessed by your support!

The weekend went by in a blur, and so did the deadline for our fantastic Christmas giveaway! So we've extended the deadline to midnight tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 11th! If you've earned entries, make sure to leave us a comment and let us know what you did on this post or our first giveaway post. If you've already done that, you will receive an extra entry! Here's how to enter:

Ways to enter:

- "like" our 2000 tutus Facebook page (if you already "like" the page, we will count that as an entry) for one entry

- invite your friends to like the page…for every ten friends you invite we will give you one entry (screen shot the invitation(s) to your friends and email it to us to receive credit)

Our biggest giveaway ever!!!

And we're up and running! We actually have a few more flannel pajama prints and fleece blanket designs to add tonight and tomorrow, so check back over the weekend as we get those updated. If you're ready to order, though, you should be able to do so on the shop pages. You can purchase the fleece blanket and pajama set combo on either page by using the special holiday button at the top of the page. And tomorrow we reveal the giveaway!!

holiday sale starts tonight!!

Are you ready for Black Friday? Which is, I guess, Black Thursday?? And then morphs itself into Cyber Monday?? We held strong till at least midnight on our own shopping, just because it's, you know, a national holiday!! And while I'll admit I'll be joining in the crazy for a few choice store deals, online shopping is SO my kind of shopping these days.

To kick off the holiday season, Mindy is releasing the first of her clothing line items, custom-made flannel pajama pants and sets! Christmas pajamas are a big deal in our house! Everyone looks forward to their new pjs on Christmas Eve, and we mark the calendar for as many pajama days as we can cram into Christmas break! And, of course, pajama days come with movies, popcorn, board games and sinful amounts of junk food!

It's about to get real.

We really gotta get our heads in the game. As in we need to get the show on the road. It's time to JUST DO IT. And someone should really stop me from using cliches to make my point already.

But, seriously. We've been at this fundraising for just about THREE YEARS, people. And while it is nice and comforting to raise lots of money ahead of time for this thing called adoption, we've come to the begrudging conclusion that God doesn't always work that way. After all, the first time around, we had exactly the amount it took to pay the application fee when we started, and not a penny more. We thought it might be a little more comfortable for us to have a chunk of the money ahead of time for this next adoption. Why do we assume that our thoughts are His thoughts?

Don't get me wrong. It is wonderful to be able to plan ahead, set goals and put money aside for adoption expenses. And we've done that to the extent that God has enabled us to. But it's clearly GO time. In fact, the more obstacles we've encountered, the more obvious it's become.

As time allows, I'd love to share more about those obstacles and the story God has been writing for the last few years. But it's, like, the end of November, and our application was accepted at Lifeline over a month ago to get this party started!!! It's time to put our money where our mouths are. We're upping the ante. We're in it to win it!

So now that we're truly and officially committed (to adopting), we've rolled up our sleeves (too much?) and freshened up our collection of tutus and other custom made items, added a few new ones and lined up some great deals for the holidays! And we're trusting God to do the rest.
